Flat rate, how much and from who?
For years now "flat rate" dial-up (accessible over a standard phone line using a 56k modem and on ISDN/Hi-Speed) packages is made available from a variety of Internet Service Providers (ISP's). To assist in choosing the package that is right for light medium and heavy Internet users we will be giving you the latest pricing and relevant information.
What is Flat Rate?
Flat Rate means you pay a standard fee per month, for which you get a bundled number of hours to use the internet per month. You do not pay the per minute internet call charges (so called "free" internet services) that you would pay in the past. The advantage to this is that you can budget for how much your internet will cost you and it is usually cheaper then for the same amount of time on pay per minute services, sometimes drastically, for instance you could save over €500 per month on UTV XL over previous per minute services!!! With different offers and different conditions attached to each its not always straight forward to compare and contrast the deals, so we are making an effort to present all of the information relevant to each offer to help you make the right choice
